We understand that our rebranding brings many questions to mind. To help guide you through this transition, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you have any more queries or need further clarification, we’re here to support you every step of the way.


Skye Bank Gambia is now Bloom Bank Africa, effective December 1, 2020. Our name and brand identity change is part of our strategic plan to be a Pan-African focused bank, after we were acquired by Oakwood Green Capital Limited.

Our tagline is now “We make it happen”, and our logo and brand colours have also changed to Blue, Orange and Green, to reflect our new direction and vision of bringing prosperity to Gambians through our exciting and custom-made products.

Relax, your banking experience would get exceptionally better, and be rest assured that we are committed to ensuring we take you along this journey of rebranding to ensure you, our cherished customers do not miss out on our brand of professional banking services.

Our signages and pylons at the branches would be changed to reflect our new brand identity. You would also find our brand colours painted in and around the branches, together with wall murals reflecting our refreshing brand change.

Not at all. Our business hours would not change due to the rebranding

No. You can still use your current checkbook for withdrawals. We would however send updates on when we expect the old Skye Bank cheque books to be phased out, then you can order the new cheque books. New cheque book requests would however receive the new Bloom Bank Gambia branded cheque books.

Yes, the look and feel of our debit cards will change, but you can still use your old Skye Bank Gambia debit cards to transact on our ATM’s and other bank’s ATM’s for a specified period which would be communicated to you in due course. All new debit card requests would now receive the newly branded debit cards.
